Wyoming Horse Racing, LLC. hosts live horse racing from mid-August through September at Sweetwater Downs (located at the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs). Action packed thoroughbred and quarter horse racing takes place against the beautiful scenic backdrop of the White Mountain Range. Local food trucks and concession stands provide options for delicious food/snacks and cold beverages. Children are welcome! Wyoming Horse Racing, LLC. was founded in 2008 and has been offering live horse racing events providing the community a friendly, fun atmosphere where they can gather and meet others. We are committed to reach out and support all facets of the equine industry which includes owners, breeders, trainers, veterinarians, and auxiliary businesses that rely on a healthy agricultural economy. We generate over $1 millon in local tax revenues annually to the municipality.
