Sweetwater Historical Society Presentation

The Sweetwater County Historical Society will sponsor a free presentation by Shaun Hayes at 2p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Golden Hour Senior Center, 550 Uinta Drive in Green River.  Hayes' presentation, "The Spanish Influenza Epidemic of 1918 in Wyoming", provides historical context for the events surrounding the outbreak of Spanish influenza in Wyoming in 1918-19, including efforts to fight World War I.  "The Spanish Influenza Epidemic of 1918 in Wyoming" is presented by the Wyoming Humanities Council as part of its Humanities Forum.
