Red Desert Rendezvous and Art Show

The Red Desert Rendezvous and Art show will begin Friday, June 17 at the Young at Heart Senior Center in Rock Springs.  On Saturday, June 18 a reception, free to the public, will be hosted at the Young at Heart Senior Center from 3-5:30 p.m.  After teh reception, a dinner and educational program will take place.  There will also be four tours of the Red Desert.  The tours include a special day-tour beginning and ending in Lander; an overnight camping tour of Honeycomb Buttes on June 17-18; a tour of the hoodoos at Adobe Toan on June 18; and a visit to Boar's Tusk the sand dunes and petroglyphs on June 18.  Interested residents can visit www.wyomingassociationofchurches.org/events to register.
