Green River Police Department Junior Police Academy

The four day program consists of classroom and hands-on instruction.  Patrol and traffic duties, investigation and arrest techniques will be some of the police functions covered by the curriculum.  The class will be instructed by Officers and other specialists who will provide real life experience and expertise.  Classes will meet either at the Green River Police Department or the Green River High School, depending on class size, from 08:30a.m. until 15:00p.m., for four consecutive days beginning July 11th through July 14th, 2011.  Students will be responsible for their own lunch arrangement.  Students must meet Academy Entry Standards.  There is no fee for participation.  For more information about the Junior Police Academy, please contact Detective Fred Moczulski at the Green River Police Department at 872-6170.
