Pony Express Christmas Card Run
Sweetwater County Pony Express Riders will once again be carrying the mail from the Green River Post Office to the Rock Springs Post Office. The ride will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2010 with riders and a special appearance from Santa Claus departing the Post Office at 11a.m. Santa will be riding a horse too!
Be sure to take your holiday cards to either the Green River Post Office or the Rock Springs Post Office anytime from now until December 11, 2010. Cards will still be accepted at the Green River Post Office on Saturday, December 11th until 10a.m., but mail must be to the Rock Springs Post Office by the close of day Friday, December 10, 2010. Each piece of mail will be carried by horse and will have the unique Sweetwater County Pony Express postmark.
