When: August 23, 2014, 8 AM to 5 PM. Volunteers are welcome to come at any time.
Where: Meet at 8 AM at the Rock Springs Field Office before heading out to Crookston Ranch.
What: Replace downed barbed wire fence, non-wildlife friendly fence and hog panels with a buck and rail fence.
Why: Protect the historic ranch from damage and protect the riparian area along Nitchie Creek and spring, which flow through the ranch.
The Rock Springs Field Office will provide safety glasses and leather gloves, along with water and Gatorade. Volunteers need to bring a lunch for the day.
